Strategic planning is a process that produces a plan characterized by originality, vision, and realism. The outcome of the process is a plan that identifies specific desired results to which all efforts are directed toward the good of all students.
How does Strategic Planning Work?
Strategic Planning involves establishing and declaring our true aspirations for the future of our district. It begins by asking these questions:
The process involves establishing our beliefs, our mission, goals and strategies. Once these have been established, they become the filter by which decisions are made in an effort to avoid being driven by fads or other districts’ choices. The strategies are then developed into action plans with detailed operational steps of action for implementation of the plan toward accomplishing the mission.
