Zion's Bank invited the Gooding Elementary Fourth Grade class to participate in their "Lights On" ceremony on December 1st. The fourth grade class created Idaho History themed ornaments as they learned about the state symbols in Idaho History to place on the tree at Zion's Bank. The students walked to the bank carrying their Idaho State Seals, Mountain Bluebirds, Appaloosas, Western White Pines, Syringas, and Star Garnets. Zion's graciously hosted all the students and presented the class with a two hundred dollar check along with cookies and candy canes. The money the 4th grade class received will help the fourth grade students go on field trips throughout the year including their trip to Boise and snowshoeing at Craters of the Moon.
